I froze at the door, hearing Alpha Elian’s voice, how the hell is he up? He shouldn’t be awake. His last words continued ringing in my head.
I thought I planned this escape well; my thought was everyone has headed to bed already. Then how was the Alpha still awake? There’s definitely something he must be hiding.
This was my opportunity to escape from this Pack and Alpha Elian just screwed up my plan again just like he did in Ravens Pack, to even think I stopped because I thought he was my second mate. I was so foolish to think that far, but it wasn’t my fault anyways, right?
