Despite the fact that I had slept through the night and was supposed to wake up happy enough that the guard who was Vera's friend, Cory had agreed to train me, I wasn't. Instead, I didn't sleep peacefully nor could I get the thought of the scary scent vera and her friend pulled on me out of my head.
It was already morning and I had of course woken up as early as the c**k crowed to begin my job for the day. Thankfully, I was able to return home on time to avoid being caught by the alpha.
