DEATH PARADE

EPISODE 4, CHAPTER 1

The black haired girl was woken by a strange woman who identifies herself as NONA.

"Do you remember your name?? " Nona asked looking concerned.

" No I don't think so ". Nona wants her to know that's perfectly fine for she doesn't have one. Nona took the woman to a single railed floor.

" Where are we going? " she asked

" The 15th floor "Nona replied . At the end of the corridor they enter an elevator to meet with the elevator operator Clavis.

Nona told him to take them to Decim's place. He greeted the black haired woman before proceeding . They reached and Nona took a seat at the bar while the black haired woman was marvel from the elegance of the Decim bowed to Nona and greeted the black haired woman, she asked where this was and Nona gave her an explanation.

" This is QuinDecim.... it is where people come to when they die. When they get here they'd play a game with their lives at stake. Judgment is passed on the deceased based on their memories and their extent of humanity shown through the game "...

Understanding the gist, the woman tried to ask a question but us interrupted by Nona. Nona telepathically calls quin to send the memory of the new " contestants " , quin automatically responds and send them to Nona and Decim. Decim is left to do his job while Nona leads the Black haired woman away and began to explain what was happening .

Nona takes the woman to a room down the hallway and explains that she is an assistant. She took her to a room full with bodies ...

"The disgust" the black haired woman screamed

" it's Decim's hobby you'd get used to it ". Nona replied.

The two women sits and face a wall and Nona told her the deceased Chiyo and Akemi would play a game. Nona continues saying the shock of people dying causes people to forget they are dead and it wouldn't be good if they realized it. As dead people would have no reason to risk their lives on a game. Thinking they are still alive would allow the Arbiters to scare them into playing the game to be judged.

They watched Decim intimidate Chiyo and Akemi into playing the game through the open wall panel . Arbiters cannot pass judgment using memories alone .

Nona states that creating extreme circumstances puts people under mental stress, this allows the Arbiters to take in the darkest part of guest souls and judgment.

The black haired woman notices that the bodies were clothed but Nona told her to focus on what was happening below. The black haired woman looks down to see a game of darts being set up

" This isn't the norms it was what is chosen by roulette "...

They view the game of darts between Choyi and Akemi (Episode one). Choyi throws a dart and injures his wife. While assessing his wife's wounds the woman asked what happened and Nona replied that they are playing the game of death.

After the game the woman asked if she could recount the memories so she could give her own judgement . They go to the dart board and Decim collects all the darts while the black haired woman confirms that Akemi did cheat. She goes on to say it was probably a one time fling and the baby was really Choyi's baby even tho Akemi said it wasn't claiming it was a lie.

Not understanding why Akemi would lie, Decim asked what exactly she could gain from that. The black haired woman thinks she did it out of grief . She saved Choyi from thinking he killed his own child. Akemi lied to assuage Choyi's guilt and to partially trick Decim into believing he was a good person. Decim surprised it was all an act and refutes her theory. After all a dead person cannot care about anyone aside themselves. The black haired woman further stated that Akemi's feelings and fondness for Choyi further encouraged her actions. Decim understand this concept is " Love "
