Chapter 17: Proposal

DIMITRI’S POV::

This morning Samual and I devised a plan in order to execute our surprise for Alexis tonight. We knew she would be waking up to use the bathroom unable to sleep. She has been very overwhelmed and anxious about everything. She is worried she will not be a great queen. However, Samual and I do not agree. We both feel she will be an amazing queen and the perfect one to be the queen to two kingdoms.. We had decided on leaving quickly when she went into the bathroom. We did not want to make any mistakes or let any of the surprises slip.. So we chose to just leave quickly after we set out her coffee and breakfast of course…

We worked on a lot at the new castle. We are just creating the bottom floor including an arena and bathrooms. This way we can throw the event in our new castle and not half of the time at one castle and then half of the time at the other castle.

Samual and I had decided we really wanted even just this bottom floor arranged and set up for this event. This event is the beginning of our newly formed unity and bond. It should not be spaced out, but thrown together in one common area to commence the unity of our kingdoms.

Once Alexis texted she was leaving we left the castle for everyone else who volunteered to continue.. We had an other set of plans that needed our full undivided attention… Our proposal to Alexis..

An hour later we talked to Isabella, Alice, and Amara. We explained what we wanted added for tomorrow and they said they had it all under control. However, I could sense they were not telling us everything..

“No grooms allowed! You must leave, now!” Isabella exclaimed loudly clapping her hands to rush us out.

We all just laughed while Samual and I went back to the cottage to finish everything. I had also asked them to call or text us when she was going to be heading back so we would be ready.

After a while everything was set up and ready for my little dove to come home.. Flower filling the cottage.. Vases of flowers strategically placed across the cottage along with flower petals scattered leading outside. Outside a similar but a slightly deeper level of romantic. Candles and flowers placed everywhere within the little bubble Crystal made us while we were in hiding.. Giving us the little extra privacy we so desire.

Samual and I are rushing to finish everything when we could hear a commotion on the inside..

She’s here.

Samual and I freeze and look at each other, then nod.

We head into our hiding spots and wait.

I watch as she comes out of the cottage with her face filled with wonder, confusion, and happiness.

Thankfully she hasn’t spotted us yet.

She approaches the intended target for us to propose to her. We both quickly get behind her on the ground, both on one knee.

I smirk, she still hasn’t noticed us?

Samual then clears his throat and she turns around.

Her face is full of confusion and wonder. She just stands there in shock, not moving.

“My sweet little dove... I know perhaps this may seem a little.. out of order? Or maybe even a bit unorthodox.. But this is just something I had to do for you.. I have heard that every girl has dreamt of their wedding day.. I for one, did not want to deprive you of this..” I stop as I watch Alexis experience the emotions.

“Lex. We have discussed this. Although we already have marked and mated and are having a ceremony tomorrow.. We would like to make sure this dream you may have you had come true.. No matter if no one else understands as this is a human tradition, you deserve everything.. And we plan to give you everything..” Samual adds.

“Alexis.. From the moment I came upon you, I knew you were the one for me. I could feel an undeniable connection with you. I knew in that very moment that we were deeply intertwined..” I pause.

“Alexis. Even as kids I had always felt close to you.. As we grew older I felt a connection even stronger.. I knew you were the one for me by the age of 6.. I knew without a doubt by the time we turned 13… You have always been in my life, and I hope there will never be a day I have to live without you..” Samual says and pauses.

At this point Alexis is beginning to bawl.

I reach into my pocket and pull something from my pocket.. A little black box.. “Alexis Shaw, will you marry me?” I ask as I open the box to reveal the beautiful ring I created with Samual for Alexis.

“Alexis Shaw, will you marry me?” Samual asks as he pulls out his box and opens it up.

She is just standing there crying..

Was this not a good choice??

I really thought we had this planned out perfectly..

Within seconds she begins nodding her head quickly, still bawling…

I quickly put the box down and grab her hands.

“I understand that this is very short notice and not a common tradition here.... However, Samual and I had talked about trying to do this for you as we thought it may be important to you..” I begin explaining when she stops me.

It is quiet for a moment.

“Yes. Yes I will marry you both. I am just so overwhelmed with joy and happiness…” she paused as she wiped her tears away and tried to calm down. “I honestly space most of the stuff I have lost since leaving the human world.. I assumed marriage was just an other thing that just wouldn’t happen for me now, and I was ok with that. But NOW that I am going to get a wedding I am beyond grateful to have been blessed by not one, but TWO amazing mates.” She states proudly with a big smile across her face.

The immense feeling that is consuming my body lets me know that I do have a heart. And right now it is so full.

We slide both rings onto her finger and her face lights up as they lock together.

“This ring is just beyond gorgeous. Thank you both so much.” Alexis says excitedly while she examines the ring on her hand.

She pauses as her smile drops from her face and she freezes.

“What is wrong?” Samual asks.

“How is everything going to get arranged for tomorrow? How will I have a dress ready? Does it matter what I wear.. How will this all work out? Or do we need to reschedule it?” She asks genuinely stressed out and worried.

I grab her hand and kiss the top. “Please do not worry even a little about the details. Your mother, Isabella, and Amara have it all under control.. They are geniuses.

She still looks unsure but content.

She then nods and smiles.

I will take this as a positive moment,this as an..

I cannot take it anymore. I walk over to Alexis and then throw her over my shoulder. I take her inside and throw her on the bed..

“Time to be ravished.. Queen.” I state with a smirk as I rip her clothes off. Leaving her fully naked on our bed.

She looks so beautiful..

I lick my lips and rip off my clothes.. I cannot believe she is mine.
