THE next day, Marco dropped me off at the hospital in the morning. He said he'd pick me up later and he gave me a soft peck on the lips before I got out of his car.
I was a little worried that somebody we know might have seen us together. I looked around and it didn't seem like anyone did, so I walked inside the hospital and started my shift.
I had lunch with Diana and Mel. Amanda couldn't have lunch with us because she had a meeting. It comes with the position, so we understood.
