FOR the next few days, I continued shadowing Amanda. By the end of the week, I knew the job well enough that Amanda decided that I was ready. She started dividing her tasks between the two of us.
The following week, Amanda moved to her new job. She was promoted to a supervisor in the accounting department. Apparently, Amanda has been studying to get her accounting degree while working for Dr. Mangahas, and when she graduated and got board certified, she applied for a job opening in the accounting department.
