Morning sunlight streamed through the large windows of Alina’s villa, the warmth teasing her awake. For a fleeting moment, she forgot where she was. But as her eyes adjusted to the lavish decor and her hand brushed against the ring on her finger, reality came crashing back. She was engaged. To Adrian King.
