Episode 12

A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH Akane's sword struck Emiko with precision, but instead of delivering a fatal blow, it was a carefully calculated strike designed to render Emiko unconscious. As Emiko slumped to the ground, Akane stood over her, her eyes blazing with a fierce determination. "I will not harm you," Akane said, her voice cold and detached. "But rather, let your evil judge you." With a nod, Akane ordered the villagers to take Emiko to the war front, where the enemy forces were gathering. It was a fate worse than death, and Akane knew it. Emiko would be thrown into the midst of the battle, where she would be forced to confront the consequences of her own treachery. The enemy forces would show her no mercy, and Emiko would be lucky to survive the day. As the villagers dragged Emiko away, Akane watched her go with a sense of grim satisfaction. Justice would be served, and Emiko would reap the rewards of her own evil deeds. The villagers cheered, relieved that the traitor had been dealt with. Akane stood tall, her eyes scanning the horizon, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. But as she turned to walk away, Akane felt a pang of unease. Had she done the right thing? Had she shown Emiko too much mercy? Only time would tell.
