JUSTICE

Akane's eyes narrowed as she looked at Emiko, who was still cowering at her feet. "You betrayed me, Emiko," Akane said, her voice cold and deadly. "You betrayed our friendship, our village, and everything we stand for."

Emiko looked up, tears streaming down her face. "I'm sorry, Akane," she begged. "I was blinded by my own ambition. Please, forgive me."

But Akane's heart was hardened against Emiko's pleas. She remembered Kaito's sacrifice, and the pain and suffering Emiko's betrayal had caused.

"You do not deserve forgiveness," Akane said, her voice firm. "You deserve justice."

With a swift and deadly strike, Akane ended Emiko's life. It was a mercy killing, one that spared Emiko the suffering and humiliation of a public trial and execution.

As Emiko's body slumped to the ground, Akane felt a sense of closure, of justice finally being served. She knew that she had made the right decision, one that would bring peace and stability back to the village.

The villagers, who had gathered to watch the scene unfold, nodded in agreement. They knew that Emiko's betrayal could not be forgiven, and that justice had to be served.

Akane stood tall, her sword still trembling with the force of her strike. She knew that she had done what was necessary, and that the village would be safer and stronger because of it.
