Coming in walking behind him was Axel he was trying to help steady my father and I looked at them both confused. "What the actual hell?" To think this couldn't get any worse someone else had walked in after them.
It was a woman and she was beautiful, dark brown long wavy hair down to her hips, she was skinny and had on a professional attire on which consisted of a crème spaghetti strap shirt, with black leather pants and heels to match. She was also tall and looked at me with a disgusted face.
Axel looked between us and then spoke.
"Uh Devyn, this is Marbèl. Uhm, my girlfriend." He said nervously, scratching his head looking at me.
"Oh yea cool wow, uhm I didn't know you had a girlfriend you could of at least given me a heads up." I said chuckling nervously, trying to play it cool.
"I wasn't aware I had to tell you anything of my personal life but ok." He said confused and trying to be nice about it.
"Uhm Axel, can I talk to you?" I said motioning him to come here.
He looked at me skeptical and ignored my concern as he went over to his girlfriend and helped her settle in.
"Uhm Marbèl is going to be staying here for a little while. So hopefully you two can become friends." He said smiling leading her to the guest room.
After Axel had helped his girlfriend settle in he then went back to help my dad then steadily brought him upstairs to his room to sleep.
*Later that day in school*
As I slammed my locker shut I said, "What a great way to start my morning, first my dad gets resurrected, then I get my heartbroken by a guy I was starting to fall for. What a fantastic morning! How was your morning Ellie?" Asking as if I actually cared but really just wanted to change the conversation.
"Wait- I'm sorry what? Your what got resurr- wait huh??" She said practically losing her s**t. "Wait, backtrack. Go back." She said as she stopped applying lipstick and I now had her full attention.
"So you went to his funeral then let your emotions out and afterwards, later that night you saw what you think was your dad?" Ellie asked looking confused, trying to understand what I just said.
"No no, not think, I know. You don't forget who your parents are- ever." I looked at her with a duhh look, raising my eyebrow up and down.
"Ok well, how does one get resurrected like that? Is that even possible. I mean like who is he god?" Ellie said scoffing and rolling her eyes.
"Look, I don't know, but what I do know is that my dad is alive but he's probably still a drunk. He needs help and I wanna know how the hell he's even still alive right now! I thought he died in that f*****g fire!!" I said losing my s**t this time.
"Yea but, maybe he escaped or something?" She said looking at me like it could of.
"Yea I mean, maybe before the fire got bad and he was sober enough, he ran out like his life depended on it. Which it did, but I honestly don't know all I know is this is honestly just all messed up." I said sighing before we went to class.
"Well I'm glad we made up and fixed everything." Ellie said as she sat down as we were now at lunch.
"Yea me too. You better not do that again though, next time I might not give you the time of day." We smiled and hugged it out again.
"How exactly did you guys make up? You guys haven't talked in what feels like, weeks." The new girl who had joined our school had said sitting next to us once and we soon became friends.
"Well it's kinda a long story, but I'll try to keep it short." I said taking a sip of my drink. "So after a week or so coming back from my supposedly parents funeral and taking time off for me. I had came back to school."

*Bell rings*
——————
"Time for 1st block." I said still grieving a bit. Sighing, I went to class and completely forgot I had sat next to Ellie. "Ah shit." I said to myself and tried moving seats but it was to late.
Ellie had walked in and she was completely oblivious as to why I wasn't speaking to her. The more I ignored her the more she felt something was wrong, but of course she shrugged it off. That was until we had 3rd block and we had a project we had to work on together which we had failed cause we had to make a volcano.
Instead of looking at the directions she decided to put whatever in it and it exploded in a way it wasn't suppose to which, we failed the assignment for of course but then we got detention for almost getting into a fight but disturbing the class...and causing a huge fire.
"UGH YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING RIGHT! NO WONDER WE'RE NOT FRIENDS ANYMORE!"
"What are you talking about? Of course we're friends, you just wanted to go quiet on me."
"I wanted to go all quiet on you? You didn't even bother to ask why, you just shrugged it off like you do with everything!"
I continued...
"You never listen to me, your always chasing boys and you've overall just been a terrible friend! I wish we never met! Your a horrible friend and every guy you stalk doesn't even like you, your obsession with them is weird! All you do is invade their space and trust me guys don't like that, no one does, it's weird! Breathing down their necks is not cute, you don't give them room to breathe!"
Ellie had started crying as I then kept going but let's just skip that part cause it was kinda nasty I didn't have to say all that.
Ellie was crying and she then sniffled and ran out the room. Everyone was looking at me like I was terrible and wrong for saying and doing what I did.
"How about you all mind yours, huh?" I said looking at everyone, then they looked at me and looked away.
Later that day in detention, Ellie spoke up.
"Look, I'm sorry I've been such a terrible friend-." She said as she began to cry again. "Please just give me another chance and I'll do better I swear." I looked at her and I knew she was being serious.
I sighed before I responded, "Fine, but I swear if you do anything!" I said starting my sentence not being able to finish it.
"Trust me girl, I won't. I'm so sorry and it won't happen again." We hugged it out then went home after detention.

"That was basically it, we talked it out, forgave and forgotten."
Coming back from the flashback I continued,
"Now we're besties again, hopefully that incident doesn't happen again though." We said smiling at each other.
After school I had made my way to the parking lot, seeing my dad, I pretended like I hadn't.
Too late.
He called me over and so I complied. I went to the passenger side and he drove us home. When we got home, I went upstairs to my room and didn't leave. My dad had knocked on the door asking if he could come in to talk. I was nervous and skeptical, but I had to know what happened.
"Come in." I said defeated.
