Cheryl walked up the sidewalk toward her apartment building. Her reading with Connie lingered in her thoughts. People’s perceptions were so different. Connie didn’t even seem to register that what she had done hurt her. Cheryl was shocked because to her it seemed so obvious. It had been a good afternoon for doing readings at Day’s shop. Day had her booked solid for the entire four hours she was there. That wasn’t what she was expecting, and goodness knows she needed the cash. Too bad it wouldn’t stay in her bank account long.
