I sprawled out of the bed and headed into my bathroom and brushed my teeth. It was Saturday so I wasn’t going to school, all I had to do was to watch movies and maybe do some baking. I really do miss baking and I can’t just wait to get back to it.

In not less than thirty minutes, I got ready and said some prayers before going downstairs. I hummed happily into the big kitchen where an old lady was standing dressed in the maids uniform.

“Good morning ma’am” I greeted the lady with a broad smile on my face and she smiled back.

“Good Morning madam, I was just about to come to you. I’m done for the day and I shall come back Tomorrow” she said. She was the only maid my father allowed in his house.

“Okay Ma’am, see you tomorrow then. Where are the baking items?” I asked and she pointed towards a cupboard.

“Everything you need is in there” she said and I smiled happily. I thanked her before she left and commenced baking.

When I was in the middle of mixing the butter, I decided to face time Jaxen. “Hey Jazen” I said with a broad smile on my face.

“Hey Ash” his voice sounded sleepy. I chuckled.

“Wanna come hangout later?. I’m making Cake” I said.

“Of course!, I would love to. I’ll be there by 12AM. Is that okay with you?” He asked and I nodded.

“Alright, bye jaxen I’ll be waiting for you” I said. I returned back to making food. I felt joyed as I steered the butter, my headphones were on and I was listening to commitment issues.

I immediately paused when I felt my uncovered back laying on Someone’s chest. I was sure it was Cole Because his smell immediately engulfed my nose.

“Cole?” I said immediately I turned around to find him behind me. I took off my headphones.

“Hey Good morning, what are you making?” He said. I looked down to his chest and he was shirtless and only dressed on short pants.

“I’m making cake” I said and he hummed.

“That’s creative” he walked over to the refrigerator and picked a box of juice and sat on the island.

“Aren’t you going?” I asked.

“No” he said “I like the view from your kitchen” he said.

“Well I don’t like the view of you, so please can you excuse me and get out” I said.

“It’ll be nice to have you as a little sister” he said and I immediately began choking on my spit.

“Sister?, you must be joking huh?” I said.

“Nope, Are you dumb or don’t you get it. Our parents like each other that is why they set us up to stay together for two weeks” he took a long sip on his juice box.

“That will never be possible, we can’t be siblings. Like never” I said and Cole nodded in agreement.

“Then let’s try to stop them from getting married” he said.

“But wouldn’t that be mean of us, I mean they love each other” I said.

“Nonsense” Cole hissed. “My dad still loves my mum and she does to. She is only blinded by the attention your dad gives her” he said.

“But what is she loves him?” I asked.

“She does not, I know mum and I know she would never stop loving my father” He said.

“Okay what do you suggest we do?” I asked.

“Me and you will have to act as if we are dating, that’s the only way we can put an end to their love story” he said and my mouth was already in awe. What the f**k, ewww.

“That’s a bad idea” I said. And returned back to my butter mixing.

“It’s the best idea, it’s it or I bash your dad on the head and force him to leave my mum” he said sarcastically but I didn’t laugh.

“Or I bash your mum on the head” I said and he rolled his eyes. “Okay what will happen if we the break out of our fake love story?” I asked.

“By then my mum and dad would finally be together” he said.

“If this plan doesn’t work out I’m gonna kill you Cole” I said. Yes I was in for it, and plus I don’t want Cole as a brother. He is disgusting and annoying.

“Then we are dating now” he said and I rolled my eyes.

“Not dating, I would never even date you. We are pretending to date” I said and he chuckled.

“Whatever, I’ll see you later fake girlfriend” he got down from the kitchen island.

“And plus, we need to act in love. So get ready for all the kisses and whatever those dumb couples do” he said and I sticked my tongue out in irritation.

“Whatever go take a bath, you stink” I said and he immediately sniffed his armpit and I made a grossed out face and returned back to my cake making.

In not less than twenty minutes I was done baking and was awaiting the arrival of Jaxen. Who like a ghost showed up knocking on door.

“Jaxen” I immediately engulfed him in a hug.

“Someone’s happy” he chuckled.

“We have A lot of movies to watch, let’s go” I dragged him by his hand and pulled him towards the movie room where we found the annoying bad boy seated on one of the chairs.

“Cole?, Don’t tell me you guy are now buddies” Jaxen said and Cole rolled his eyes.

“We are not buddies jaxen, I’m only here because my mum is out of town. Her dad and my mum know each other” he said.

“Oh uncle Jared?” Jaxen Asked and Cole nodded.

“Okay. It’s great you are here. At least watching the movie will be fun with you around to bad mouth all the characters” Jaxen said in a chuckle and Cole rolled his eyes while I chuckled.

“Let’s sit Jaxen, The movie is about to begin” I said and Jaxen sat down next to Cole with me by his side as the movie began to play.
