ZOELLA'S POV I jumped on my bed after hours of trying to scrap paint off my body including hair but the paint still remains on my hair a visibly. I sigh and let out a yawn. I wonder how Brook is doing. I'm the one that lad her into this mess. But hey, I wouldn't give up easily. I will still fight for her and protect her from bullies. I hate bullies so much I feel like killing all of them at once. I smiled as I just got a plan. A sweet plan. Oliver will have to pay for this. I let out another yawn before having a beautiful sleep. *** I looked around and spotted Brook busy at her locker. She also still has some paints on her hair. I walk towards her and greeted with a smile on my face. "Hey Brook!" She turns and gives me a tired look. "Why are you so happy like nothing happened yesterday?" She asked giving me a questioning look. "It was yesterday, this is a new day." "Look Zoe, I think this friendship isn't working in other words it's making stuff much more harder for me. I'm sorry. I guess having friends is not my thing or destiny." Brook says, shrugging her shoulders with a pout on her face.. I let out a sigh. "Hey, we are in this together. I am not going to leave you alone. I'm here to be a friend you never had. I'm already liking you because you aren't pretending like most of the people in this school. I like you because you are different, new to me. I am here to face whatever you passed through with you. Okay? So don't act like a pity face." "Thank you. I don't know what I did to deserve you. You're my angel." "That, is right. Now we have class to go to, so hurry up." I said. She nods then closes her locker. *** "I can't." "What?" "I'm sorry, I just can't do this." "Come on. Okay, think about all he has done to you and that smirk on his face while you felt pain." I said. After few more minutes of her in deep thoughts, she looked like she could hold a gun and shoot a cop. "What should I do." "Nothing." I shrugged. She looks at me dumbfounded. "What? The courage I summoned." She gasp. "You are doing nothing. You just sit and watch." "But you said..." "I don't remember telling you, you should do something I just told you the plan, then you said you can't." "Oh yeah, that's true." She scratches a neck. "I'm done. Okay, let's go." *** Brook and I walked in the cafeteria, her still hiding at my back while I carry a big bucket mixed with three colorful paints. I spotted Oliver busy with his phone. Thankfully he wouldn't noticed people staring at me as I made my way to the table, making sure to stay at Oliver's back. We both finally got to the table but I stayed at Oliver's back. "Hey Brook. Hey Zoe. What are you doing with that bucket?" Olivia asked. "Bucket?" Oliver mutters and turns to look at me. I wasted no time and pour out the content of the bucket on Oliver's head. His mouth forms a 'o' as he moves his chair back and got up. People around all gasped or whimpered in shock. "How does that feel? Huh? Big for nothing jerk." I said painfully. Oliver stares at me emotionlessly. "Zoe?" Cole called out. "Yeah?" I answered still looking up at Oliver. "Have we ever had a serious talk since we met?" "Huh no? What do you mean?" "I'm already loving you as it looks. It will be really nice and helpful if you join our group." Cole continues while Oliver starts drawing out the paint he can. I finally took my eyes off him but stay routed in front of him as I stare at Cole with a questioning look. "Is this the right time to say all this Cole?" I asked with my eyebrows raised. "It was nice meeting you and it will still be nice." Cole continues looking like he is about to breakdown. I sigh annoyingly. "Can you just go straight to the point?" I said frustrating. Rachel hits the table with her hands and gets on her feet. "What he is trying to get to is that you should run." Rachel stated. "What? why?" I asked confused and quickly steal a glance at Oliver who is finally about to wipe off the last place packed with paint even though the paints are still visible but not as much as earlier. I stare back at Rachel with folded arms. "If you still love yourself and really love your life and me as his wonderful caring sister, I know what he is capable of. I would love to advise you to run for your dear life." Olivia says. I scoff and turn to look at Brook by my side but she isn't there. I look around until my eyes met the door and saw just her back before the door shuts. I stare shocked and look back at Oliver as he spread the only full amount of paint left on his hand to the floor. "Run!!!" Olivia, Rachel and Cole said in unison as Brice just smirks at this whole situation. They did not have to repeat it one more time as I turn and was ready to run out the door. Only to be turned back to Oliver. He stares at me like he want to reap me apart. Looking at him like this quicken my heart beat. He looks really intimidating than ever before. He grabs the collar of my denim jacket and pulls me closer to his face. I stare at the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. His eyes suddenly squeezed shut, he looks like he was fighting something back. I took that as a cure to pull off but his hold on my collar both side tightens. I try looking around and everyone looked at this scene in fear but they don't look surprised to witness this, like they KNOW what will happen next. I looked at Rachel and the rest then mouthed 'help' but they just sink lower on their chairs. I froze as he slowly opens his eyes. His face searches mine then shuts again. "C-can you just let me go?" He opens his eyes, but they turned dark grey. "Run away from me and never turn my side again." He said and it shows how he's trying to hold himself back. He lets go off me and I turn taking off. I'll try my best, Oliver.
