All action seized. Golden beams dotted around the giant hall, sapphire chandeliers and ornate marble statues glinting in the large hearth. Above the wide mantle sat a detailed painting of Necculea and its many seas. At another end of the hall, King Arhuk's throne stood tall and proud. At his feet sat nobles and members of his court. The ruthless king leaned over one jewelled chair arm, watching a sphinxe breathe fire into three hoops and juggle it. Only he seemed impervious to the stranger's intrusion.
