After I left my office, I continued teaching, and by goddess, my lectures were dragging because Selene wasn't in any of them. I don’t know why, but something felt off. A heavy unease settled in my chest, creeping up my spine like a warning I couldn’t ignore.

‘Yeah,’ I admitted, gripping my pen tighter. ‘It’s like... something’s wrong, but I don’t know what.’
'Something is going on with Selene. We need to leave and see if she's alright.' Kieran agreed with me. Right as my lecture ended, I hurriedly made my way outside sending a mind link to Selene to see if she was still here.
