Chapter 150: How to Soothe an Angry Girlfriend
Frederic Howard frowned, carefully thinking to himself that he hadn't done anything to upset her, could it still be because of the school issue? As soon as he thought about the investigation results Evan Hicks had sent him, a surge of anger coursed through his body. He quickly walked over to Melissa Ernest, but then slowed down, afraid of startling her, and resumed his usual gentleness towards her.
Throughout dinner and until bedtime, Melissa Ernest did not speak to him once. After washing up, Frederic Howard climbed into bed and pulled her into his arms, but she immediately turned her back to him.
