Looking at the figure huddled on the bed, seemingly devoid of any sense of security, a pang of tenderness struck his heart. Gently tucking the blanket around her, his gaze fell upon her delicate, rosy lips, causing a flutter in his chest. In this silent night, it felt as if he could hear the thumping of his own heart.
