"Ah, Miss Melissa, what happened to your mouth? Is everything alright?" Emily asked with concern.
"It's nothing, Aunt. Last night, I dreamt of my mom cooking delicious dishes, and I might have bitten myself in my sleep." She replied, her face turning red as she lowered her head and spoke softly, then playfully stuck out her tongue and winked.
"Cough, let's have breakfast!" Frederic Howard, sitting on the sofa, interrupted, preventing Emily from saying more.
A flush of red appeared on her ears; being an experienced person, Emily understood immediately. She smiled, her eyes darting between the two, and walked toward the kitchen to bring the porridge.
