Cleaning up the mess the changelings had caused took little time for The Freak Show elves. With the battle taking place in Soho’s sewers, there was hardly any covering up to do. Most of the burn marks would become grime patches over time and the water damage fitted in with its surroundings.
Toby remembered the clean-up that had ensued the previous year outside Newgate Gaol. Hundreds of spectators had to be ushered into the streets like cattle where the elves got to work brainwashing them.
