The sky had an orange glow to it as the light from the setting sun stretched out across it. It was breathtaking. Kelly watched the colors fade for almost half an hour. The birds flew across the sky and into trees, returning to their nests and their young for the night. It was probably mother nature trying to tell her she had stalled too long already, but still, she didn’t move. The air was becoming chilly, she shuddered and wrapped her arms around herself.
She stood outside the house that had been her father’s home on the pack lands for the past three weeks. Although Alpha Rocco had told Daniel Blackdeer everything about werewolves, he hadn’t been allowed to move freely around the pack homes for obvious concerns.
