CHAPTER TEN

1000 Words
The three of them finally left, with xander driving leah home and kirsten going in her own truck. It was just liam and victoria alone on the swing, talk under the bright moonlight. "I thought they'd never leave." "I should go too." "No, stay some more." "Then go get me a glass of wine and a jacket." "I'll get the bottle and two glasses." "Are you trying to get me drunk?" "Are you trying to make me drink alone on our birthday?" "You corny son of a....., fine." she said, liam sprinted into the house and returned half a minute later. He wrapped victoria with the jacket and poured the wine into the glasses, he gave her one and held the other. "Happy birthday to you liam." "And Happy birthday to you tori." liam responded, then they took large sips and sighed together. "I've missed this." "Wine?" Liam chuckled, "Sitting with you under the moonlight. Mr donald would be smiling in his grave, he wanted to see us both before he died." "I was a thousand miles away from home." "And you were terribly missed." Victoria sighed, she subconsciously placed her hand on the engraven on the tree, "I missed home too, I missed you." she dropped her head on his shoulder. Liam looked at her and smiled, "I craved that on my twenty fifth birthday, this was where i ate my cake." Victoria sprang up. "What about missy?" Liam gave a sad sigh, "Missy died a year after you left five years ago." he said as he poured another glass of wine, victoria drew ger glass closer for more. "Alright, enough of these sad moments. Do you still have the chess board? Or the video games?" "You want to play a game?" "Yes." "I still have the video games, xander took the chess board." "Let's go in and play then, i beat you one round and you take me home afterwards. " "What makes you think you can beat me?" Liam asked as they stood up and walked towards the house. "I've always knocked your ass." "Because i let you sometimes." he opened the door and victoria ran in, she went into the living room and turned on the TV. The bottle in liam's hand was almost empty, she opened the refrigerator and took yet another bottle. "Are you planning on making me take your drunk ass home and tuck you into bed?" "Are you scolding me on my birthday?" victoria fired back, liam raised his hands in surrender. He began to set the game, while victoria got comfortable on the couch, placing the bottle and two piece of cake on a platter on top of the center table. The game began and so did the argument of who buys who lunch if they lose. One round turned two, then three and four, when they got to the seventh round, the pillow fight started. Running around like kids and throwing popcorn and pillows at each other until they got exhausted and collapsed on the floor. Liam managed to pick up the three empty bottles of wine they drank and set it aside; "Tori?" he crawled to check if victoria had passed out but her eyes were wide open. "Come on now, let me take you home tori." he mumbled close to her, she heard and replied. "I don't want to." she slurred "What?" "I don't want to go home tonight..." She turned to face him, her grey eyes locked with his green ones for a moment. He saw something he'd never thought he would see, and God he'd wanted same thing ever since she returned. But by chance if he was wrong? He wasn't because in the next second, she kissed him hungrily and when she pulled away, she stood up. 'Maybe i was wrong, she didn't want me.' He closed his eyes and waited for her to say the words so he could find his keys and go drop her off. But what he heard made his eyes open immediately; "Coming?" she asked, she was on her way upstairs. 'That's not the way to the front door, or your house, or the truck.' he thought. She'd already disappeared up the stairs, he hurriedly stoop up and went after her, he met her standing in front of the mirror. She stared at him through it and smiled, that smile melted his heart and stirred his c**k awake. "Tori...." he called as he approached her, his voice was husky. He stood behind her, placed his head between her neck and shoulder and inhaled before kissing it slightly. "Tori, i'm not sure we should..." "Quit being an older brother to me for a second liam." she said, her voice was ordering, not demanding. He was amazed by her sudden guts, was it the alcohol that triggered this side of her? Because he loved this side of victoria craven and he was scared as well as he was excited. She unzipped the sundress and slipped it from her shoulder to her waist, her creamy breast and tight n*****s topping them face him. "I...i can't...i can't have you in this state." liam said, but his eyes never left her breast. Victoria frowned, she covered up her chest and walked past him. "Well, i ain't sleeping horny tonight for sure. Let me have the keys to your truck." "Why?" "I haven't gotten laid in four years, it's my thirtieth birthday with no family, husband, kids or even a boyfriend. I'm going to a bar to find a man for the night." She said and brought her opened palm forward, the other one still holdingthe dress on her chest. "The keys." "No." "I'm not one of your sibling, stop parenting me around." she flared up. With two strides, liam was in front of her, he wrapped his hand around her waist and the other raised her chin up. "I'll be the man you need tonight." his mouth closed around hers and everything else didn't matter.
