I clambered over the rocks and to the ridge I liked to sit on while I watched the world pass me by. It was early in the day still, and the rocks were pleasantly warm from the heat of the sun. I laid down and put my head on my paws, letting my eyes fall closed as I basked. There was no doubt in my mind that Thoth would be back today, and I wanted to make the most of the time I had without him bothering me. The crunch of stones alerted me to his arrival.
