Theo had called me back to the pack house the night before to finish paperwork that I'd been neglecting since I'd been spending all my time with Vivi. The thought of her made me text her. Me:" love you ,can't wait to come home to you every day,are you ok? Need anything?". I slide my phone back into my pocket when Theo nudges me in the back. "Smiling a lot these days boss". I chuckle " yep finally feel like I'm where I'm supposed to be ". Theo pats my back before walking out of the office. I sit down trying to focus back on my work when I get this sick feeling that something is wrong so I text Viviana again. " Babe, what's wrong ? Are you ok"? I send the text and get no reply, I call and it goes straight to voicemail and I know that something isn't right. I mind linking Theo. "Theo swing by Viviana's something doesn't feel right". I sit back down fidgeting with the paperwork. I no longer care about grabbing a joint and lighting it. Minutes pass and Theo finally calls . "Boss, Lucian's kidnapped Viviana inside the apartment, blocked all the entrances and blacked out all the windows, I can't get a visual". I hung up the phone, not even bothering with my truck. I release my wings flying as fast as I can to get to her. I land beside Theo fully shifting " come on". I knock out the bedroom window running into the living room as fast as my feet will take me, to see Lucian on top of Viviana punching her repeatedly and I lose it. I growl causing Lucian to look up at me frightened jumping off Viviana and backing into the wall. " Who .. who are you"? I can smell the fear seeping through his pores.I pick him up by his neck locking eyes with him " I'm your karma!" Throwing him into the wall and rushing to Viviana's side. She was bloody, unconscious and barely breathing. Lucian tries to run but Theo blocks his way and I catch him by the back of his neck and with a quick motion of my wrist I snap his neck letting his body fall to the floor. I grab Viviana and head to the doctor leaving Theo to call the clean up crew and then meet me and the doctor at the pack house. I land in the driveway meeting the doctor at the front door . He takes Viviana from me, laying her down on the sofa and starting to work. I pace back and forth praying for her to be ok. He starts to wake and I am at her side instantly trying to get her to focus on me . " Vivi, Vivi calm down love it's me our safe it's me ." She stops struggling and looks at me trying to speak but I can't make out a word she was saying. She finally puts my hand to her stomach, a small smile passes her lips and I catch on immediately. She closes her eyes and her hand goes limp. " Doctor saves my mate and our child". I help him move her into my bedroom when Theo walks in. " Is she ok "? I sigh sitting beside the bedroom door " I don't know but she is pregnant". Theo helps me up " il set a perimeter around the house. I know Lucian and Ivan are dead but still just to be safe". I nod " Thanks Theo". He leaves me waiting for the doctor who finishes soon after. He hooks her up to an Iv and monitors before speaking "Alpha, the Luna is going to be ok and the child pll need to be monitored but should be fine as well, we won't know more until she wakes up and that's a process we can't rush.". The doctor bows before leaving and I sit beside her taking in the damage. She had bruises on her chest and neck, her face was swollen, bruised, she had a broken nose and to top it all her forehead had been split. Part of me wishes I could bring Lucian back just to refill him for what he had done . Even with all of her brokenness she was still beautiful and unique. I knew our child would be just as special and strong as her and I can wait for our future.
