Chapter 4
"Finally, Isabella, you can't hide anymore," Sandro said with a smirk on his face and a wicked look in his green eyes.
"Why don't we keep going with what we were doing?"
As soon as Lizzo walked through the door to the toilet, Sandro's head snapped to her.
"Yes," he said with a toothy smile. Not because he liked what she was going to do to him, but because he liked her.
Isabella is... He couldn't wait to put his hands around her tiny neck and snap it.
He couldn't wait to give her all of the punishments he'd been thinking about, and he also couldn't wait to meet her.
Isabella's eyes went to the clock on the wall for the hundredth time.
It was 12 o'clock.
She rubbed her tired eyes and let out a sigh. It was midnight, and she didn't know why she was awake at such an odd time.
She knew something was about to happen, though. She couldn't ignore the weird feeling that was growing inside of her.
It wasn't the first time she felt that way. When her father died, it was the same thing.
If she had been older, she might have told her father, and they would have definitely left.
But she didn't think it was possible back then because she had never been allowed to make a choice because she was too young.
"Leonardo," she said in a mumble.
When his name was said, she shook and the hair on the back of her neck stood up.
She didn't know how she knew, but she thought that the weird feelings were all because of him.
She cried, "What if he found me again?"
Isabella wrapped her arms around herself and rocked back and forth as she thought about the idea.
Since that night, she hadn't seen him or heard anything from him.
Even though she was a little lonely, she was still living her life. I'd rather do that than be scared of him.
She got out of bed, walked to the window, and pulled the curtains back.
She gasped and quickly shut the door. Then take another look.
Isabella gritted her teeth and clenched her hands as she saw a familiar black van stopped near her flat. "Sh*t, they found me!"
She had seen that the van had been following her for a while after work.
She hadn't given it much thought before now.
"I'm so stupid!" she moaned and palmed her face.
She thought that she would have moved faster if she had known that the van was for the enemy and that they were after her.
She could see more cars and bikes coming up to the front of the house. She wondered if there were any other people in the building where they were going.
Only leaving through the back door was an option.
Isabella put her hair in a messy ponytail by running her hand through it. She wore a clean top and shorts so she could move more quickly.
She was also glad it was getting darker. She could move around without drawing attention to herself because she could hide in the shadows.
She ran into the bathroom, washed her face and almost right away left. She got a small tote bag and put some clothes and other things she thought she would need in it.
Before leaving, he took one last look at the flat.
But it looked like her luck ran out.
As soon as she left her flat through the back door, someone tapped her on the shoulder, making her spin around.
Isabella let out a scream when she saw the man wearing all black.
As he took off his gloves, her eyes wandered to his big hands.
She licked the inside of her bottom lip and looked back at his face.
Leonardo De f*****g Enzo!
She often had a bad idea of him in her head, which wasn't fair.
The last time she saw him, six years ago when she was 14, he was a very handsome man.
A really tall man who looked like he walked off the cover of a magazine.
She thought Marco was the most attractive man she'd ever seen.
The man in front of her was very handsome.
Even though he was making a face, it didn't make him less attractive.
Isabella wants to run her hand through his wild, tangled hair, but she clenches her fingers instead.
When he got close to her, she felt warm, and her core swelled and tightened as she thought about what he could do to her body.
She mumbled, "No," and shook her head. "He is my enemy, so I shouldn't think so badly of him."
"Hello, Princess," Sandro said with a smile, and he saw her startle. "It's okay to think bad things about me, because everyone does."
Isabella's eyes were drawn to his green eyes, which were very sharp. Then she realised she had to scream because he had her trapped.
He mumbled, "Sweet dreams," and made a kissy sound with his lips.
As she tried to get away from him, Leonardo moved quickly to her side and grabbed her by the neck.
Isabella opened her mouth to scream, but she couldn't get the words out because her neck hurt so much.
She held on to Leonardo's hand as it cinched around hers, and she blinked when she couldn't see clearly.
She slurred, "W-what did you do to me?!"
Her head hurt and she groaned because it hurt so much. She no longer could see what was in front of her. He must have given her something, but she didn't feel anything when she was with him.
"Don't fight it," Sandro said in a raspy voice. "Have a great dream."
Isabella grunted as he did the same thing to her neck as the first time.
She said, "s**t!" and then gave in to the darkness.
**********
As soon as Isabella woke up, she made a face. Her head was still pounding, and it tasted like she had eaten a lot of lemons the night before.
As soon as her eyes opened, she rubbed them, which she quickly regretted because they hurt.
Isabella groaned and rubbed her neck as she tried to force herself to sit up in bed.
The back of her hand then reached up and touched her head. When she touched it, it was warm, and she winced.
She could feel a fever coming on. But she couldn't remember when she was sick last. She wondered if it was because she had been working too hard in the plaza for the past month.
She didn't do it because she was poor; she had enough money to feed herself for life. She did it because she wanted to see what it's like to work for money.
The room's curtain moved, which got her attention. She knew she wasn't in her room, though. It was impossible that the room she stayed in was this big and fancy. Even the room's decorations show how rich it is, making her wonder if she was taken there.
When she thought about what had happened the day before, it made her head spin.
Men in black, Vans, motorcycles, etc...
Isabella jumped out of bed and said, "Jesus, Leonardo!"
Isabella's hand went back to her neck as she thought about how he had given her two shots of something.
She got up quickly and ran to the door. Her shaky hand grabbed the metal doorknob and pulled on it.
She said, "s**t!" and kicked the door with her black ballet flats while pulling her hair.
She had problems. How did she get herself into this mess?
She huffed as she looked around the room for a way out.
She patted her chest as her heart sped up and she felt the familiar rush of a panic attack.
Isabella took another step towards the door after she had tried for a while to control how she felt.
She turned the knob, but it didn't work.
She had a smile on her face when she opened the door, but it went away as soon as she saw who was on the other side.
She jerked back and put her hand over her mouth. She made a noise that couldn't be heard and fell backwards.
"Oh, Sleeping Beauty is finally awake! We should celebrate with a feast," he said with a sinful grin.
Sandro clapped and moved into the room while his sea-green eyes sparkled. "I was right when I said you couldn't run forever. Do you still believe me now?"
