Elise made a low whistle as she pushed into Astredian’s study, and gazed admiringly at the large, finely carved desk and floor to ceiling bookcases that lined the side walls. The back wall, which the desk was centered on, featured a large picture window that looked out onto the garden. There was a side table that had a war map with little figures and markers to the left, and a drinks cabinet with a decanter and set of scotch glasses. To the right were the double doors that led to the guild commander’s personal quarters. “Now, this is an office.” Elise said, smiling as she took the space in.
