With no repeat of yesterday’s dinner debacle, I ran through the next day’s lines with Lucas and then escaped to the pool house. When he commented about my smile, I just said I was relieved the big love scene with Kane was over, and luckily, he bought it. Not that I wanted to keep secrets from Lucas, but this…this thing with Dawson was so new, and I wanted to get it straight in my own head before other people found out. After all, what was it?
