Neither of us has said it out loud yet, but there’s something lingering in the back of my mind about the agreement we made at the Dragon HQ, and I know it must be in Milo’s, too: three months is more than just the length of time we requested for our campaign.
It’s the length of time before Harper’s seventeenth birthday, too.
How’s it going with her? I link to Kenton as Milo and I make our way to the podium awaiting us at the Brighton Centre in England.
Good. She started seven fires in succession today.
I groan. Milo clocks it, but doesn’t push himself into my head. She’s supposed to be learning how to stop starting fires, not how to start more of them!
