Harper’s POV   “It’s been three days. She’s not coming back.” I scowl at my mother, despite knowing perfectly well that she’s right. I just can’t believe it. What kind of mother abandons her son when he’s on death’s door? “He doesn’t seem to be coming back, either,” Dad points out. “So that’s good.” We’re in the HQ Hospital’s waiting room, which is basically just a living room.
