DeLorna woke up, her eyes heavy. She tossed and turned on the bed feeling tired. She hadn't done much work the day before and had only had a series of tours with Jefferson in the pack. This was what she had done throughout the week. Touring the pack wasn't much work but she was feeling tired.
She remembered she had a quiet argument with Jefferson the night before.
He was talking about how many babies he would love to have with her when he comes back from the war, which made her become shy and pretend to be asleep. But unfortunately, before she knew it, sleep took her away and she soon went into the fantasy world.
There were a lot of things she wanted to say to him but the sleep had interrupted and hadn't allowed her to say all that was in her mind.
