Freya was dropped into a silent area in the pack’s vicinity, where the harsh sun touched the most during the day. It was an area anyone barely walked into. She laid there feeling broken and battered for what felt like hours. At some point, she lost consciousness and didn’t realize it when the day bled into evening.
