tearing through the town

Kia's P.O.V.

I summon the guards to take me to town to figure out what the hell is going on and why Flokie just linked me like a mad man, as if I have done something to him from home. They all were posted around the pack house, so it took no time at all. Shifting into our wolves we take off towards town. there is nothing more freeing then running full speed in wolf form. covering myself with a protection spell I take off and completely out run the guards. There isn't a wolf in our pack faster than I am, and my child is missing so I am running full speed. when I arrive at the old gas station, I don't stop. We are supposed to shift here but I'm going to chance it and run to the next alleyway up. No-one sees me I duck behind the dumpster and shift. Unlike everyone else I don't really need to hide to shift because I don't change back nude my clothes stay in one piece. seeing how this is a human town I duck so no one sees me.

coming out of the alley and running the rest of the way on foot I head to my Alpha he is standing with all the warriors. He sees me coming and his eyes go dark what the hell is going on. he has never looked at me with so much anger before and now he just looks confused. I can smell the magic on his skin he has walked in a mirage. this is dark magic I prayed the storm wasn't today, but the moon goddess had other plans. Flokie has known me for a very long time he knows me better than I do sometimes he can tell I know something already.

before he can say anything " what happened Flokie why do I not see our child? Why did you link me with so much anger and look at me the way you did when I first arrived? What is going on?" I say with more accusation in my tone then I meant.

"My dearest Kia I am so sorry I have failed you and our child I didn't make it in time when we arrived Skye was gone and I watched YOU with my own eyes grab Megan and head for the alley I was right on your tail but when I made it to the alley you and Megan had already disappeared. I know I sound crazy but I swear I saw you the rest of the men seen a man but could not make out his face." he said looking defeated.

mind linking him so no one else hears me I tell him " I can smell magic it is all over you . you had to walk right through it. take me to the spot you seen Megan get grabbed."

walking over to Megan's car Flokie stops and says 'yall was right here"

I can feel the person that was here had great power but I can not tell whom that person is. taking the same path in silence to the end of the alley I wave my hand around before the mirage clears I can smell Skye. the smell hit Flokie to because he became alert. who ever has her is powerful and smart. they didn't let her scent escape until after the mirage was in place. Flokie looks down at me and asks "what is going on what are you not telling me I am an Alpha I can handle it can you tell where she is ."

looking down the alley I tell him " I only know two things who ever grabbed her is strong and power to be able to look just like me grab two teenagers put up a mirage, and get away that's not just strength that is smarts and skill the other thing is they went this way." as soon as I give Flokie a direction he is in full alpha mode .

" listen up I want this town searched no rock left unturned every basement attic barn and shed searched. if any human tries to stop you do not let them they can die or move but we will search. move your ass. they can not be to far tear this town apart if someone knows something bring them to me!!!"

everyone is paying full attention to every word leaven his mouth as soon as he finished everyone broke up and took off. everyone to afraid not to move fast enough they have seen his wrath and would rather not experience that again. Flokie called upon more of the pack to come to town and even called for his brother who lives in a couple towns over. everyone slowly starts arriving checking in and taking off they have been tearing up the town for about thirty five minutes and no one has anything to report. you can see the anger radiating off of my Flokie grabbing his arm to try and calm him down just a little. smiling at me he says " thank you my love I really needed that a simple touch" and he is beginning to calm. not completely but enough that pack members don't have to be afraid to bring him a report. We have almost finished the town and Flokie's brother arrives in what looks to be a parade of cars everyone ready and willing to help look for Skye. as soon as he has informed his brother of what is going on Flokie tells the men he brought the same thing he told his own and they are off. I have a few tricks up my sleeve, and I'm ready to put them into play jumping in the front seat of the SUV he arrived in I contact every witch that I can if we are up against magic I want someone else here that can help. I am a powerful witch but the more people the more magic and I will drain the magic from everyone before I sit by and do nothing when my daughter is involved. everyone in our pack fears Flokie not knowing I'm deadlier then he could ever dream of being. I will set the world on fire to get my child back nothing will stop me
