So much had been going smoothly. I chuckled and shook my head at Ryder's absurd Demon Alpha speech. The electrifying buzz that only winning teams can produce filled the entire café. The front door suddenly began to jingle and the mood changed. He was there when I turned.
Caleb. Madison was thankfully not with him, clinging to him like he was the last boat on Titanic.

What was he doing here? He rarely came to the cafe, he was either hiking or swimming. Was he stalking me like Ryder said?He immediately fixed me with his gaze. I briefly thought I caught a glimpse of surprise on his face.
