An Encounter
The journey to Chikaumi is a quick one. Compared to the road from Reone to Murthsminne, the route from Murthsminne to Chikaumi is shorter. We did not linger long on the capital of magic. Aside the fact that we do not have any business there, staying long can attract unnecessary attention. The day after our arrival, we left the city and headed southward straight to Chikaumi. The route to the town is somewhat straight and flat. It goes through the southern plains. When heading south, travelers see three volcanoes that serve as guides. Our destination is by the middle volcano, which is partly underwater. On the way, I test my newly bought equipment to see how they would work.
