After more than a month of travelling, Luke and Alyssa finally gets home. They land on the capital of the Kealyn domain which is the base of operation of General Emmanuel’s army. When they landed, the guards point their arms against them, thinking that they are enemies because of what they were wearing. However, Luke shows the insignia of House Juneau, which General Emmanuel gave to him. The guards immediately bow down as Alyssa and Luke get off their horses.
“I must speak to General Emmanuel immediately,” Luke shouts. “Take me to his quarters.”
“I’m sorry, sir, but General Emmanuel left with General Zenneif this morning. They have not come back yet,” the guard replies. “They went to check with our informant in Mysinda who has monitored the movements of the Western Alliance army.”
