With their first victory at Riverdale Pass, Wisterion makes sure the victory does not get to his soldiers’ heads. He sends Alyssa with five thousand Knights and Mage Knights to reconnoiter the road beyond the pass. The county beyond the pass is called Silentflow. It is known for its shallow rivers which never flood even during the rainy months.
As Alyssa reconnoiters the route, she stumbles upon Maria’s soldiers who are camping two kilometers east of the closest town. Both sides draw up their battle formation. Alyssa wanted to take the front lines, but General Wisterion’s words resonate in his head.
