Once everything was settled, I was left at maternal home to be away from strife of life. The family took very good care of my every physical need but they were unaware about what is gouging up in me with every passing day. I was reared in environment of suppression where every emotion of being was traumatized by supplication of books. I became bookworm both physically and emotionally as I feel like light of outer world will drown me to nothingness.
I was only over three when I was send to school to have formal education or to avoid my meekness filled eyes which were asking thousand questions. At school the feeling was different but homogeneous was my experience. My classmates treat me with heliconic love and try to get words out of me. Now the different problem raised its head as they speak local language and I was taught only to speak in English. we were classmate but semantically we were alien to each other. I often see them talking with innocence pouring out in every syllable but I was too far away from understanding the meaning. Thus the introvert was coming to existence both at school as well as home.
while this all was going on, the outside world was burning in sulphuric conflict of political dilemma. The culture of modifying cruelty was baptized with different names as freedom fighters vs oppression. The govt of time was doing everything possible to crush the uprising but there were billions of reasons to become a fighter and religion being used the most. The tussle between two powers always provoked disaster in the region created out of history and illusion. the common sense was losing its battle against the franchised madness.we as kids used to enjoy the day they call Cardon as it used to be festival for us .The grown ups on the said days were tremendously trembling as they have to pass before a vehicle whereby a person was sitting inside it. The problem was when the horn was blown and flock of uniforms take hold of person. The person was taken usually to a separate room and next was calamity with echo of one sentence reverberating the air and felt in bone marrow "I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING " .this used to puncture the elevation of our joy and we were left with tears rolling on the lap of insecurity.
Thus home, school and surroundings in collaboration created an introvert ,lost in mirage of belonging , And that was Me.
