The bakery was finally quiet on Monday evening and I retreated to my office to plan an event we had been contracted for on Saturday. It was a wedding and a big one at that. Some hotshot from the city was getting married to one of the locals and Sweet Surprise was the best bakery in town, I’m not even bragging. I focused on the task at hand, even though thoughts of Damian drifted to my mind every once in a while.
There was a knock at the door and Greg strolled in.
“Hey,” he said moving closer and pulling up a seat. His tie was loosened, and even though he looked tired, he still looked good.
“Hey, What are you doing here?”
“I saw Emma and Lucas, who is your son I am told. They were shopping at the mall close to the bank and she told me you would be here burying your head in paperwork. Looks like she was right. So I came to see if any more psychos are hanging around,”
The corners of my mouth twitched in a small smile, “I’m fine, Greg. Really. And about that night…”
He held up a hand, “No need to apologize. Although I would like to know why you didn’t tell me you have a son. He is cute.”
“It's not the sort of thing one mentions at a blind date. You never know what psychos are hanging around,”
“touché…”
“I just wanted to tell you again that I had a great time. Well up until the end when I met a low-budget John Wick,”
I laughed out loud. “It's complicated… He’s an old friend I haven’t seen in years. That’s all.”
“Friend, huh?” Greg raised an eyebrow, “Is that what we’re calling him?”
“Greg,” I warned playfully,
“How about a second date to make up for the last one,”
“You just said you had a great time,”
“Okay, half a date?”
I laughed again, shaking my head. “You’re relentless.”
“Persistent,” he corrected.
“I should probably get back to this. I have a huge wedding this Saturday to cater for.”
He stood and stretched his arms, my eyes betrayed me, wandering to the unbuttoned space in his shirt.
“You know,” he said, moving around the desk, “You could do better at checking me out,”
“I wasn’t…,”
“liar!”
“You’re insufferable,” I muttered still smiling. “You know after our last date, I wasn’t sure if you’d want to see me again.”
“you were great company and easy to talk to,” He reached out and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. His eyes flicked to my lips, before bending to kiss me.
It started slow, searching as if he feared that I would pull away. I kissed him back and deepened the kiss.
When he finally pulled back, he quickly stood up straight, unsure of himself still. “I should probably get going,”
“Yeah, you probably should,” I said but deep down, I didn’t want him to go. This man was different from Damian, who was used to just taking. This man needed a push. He needed to know.
“Bye,” he shifted on his feet and then turned to leave.
“Greg?”
“Yeah!” he answered rather too quickly, probably having the same thought I was but unable to act on it. I stood up, grabbed his tie, and pulled him back to me.
“Anita—” he started, I didn’t care about whatever he had to say. I kissed him urgently this time and hoped that would be the sign he needed. I had no idea what I was doing but Emma was right. I needed this. His hand found the zip on my back and pulled it down.
We barely made it to the couch in the corner of the room before things escalated. Clothes getting undone and shoes flying across the room. The world seemed to disappear, just the two of us taken over by our lustful desires.
The foreplay was brief but precise. The couch was uncomfortable but didn’t matter, all we needed was the fulfillment of a purpose, The need to be inside of each other. He caressed my entrance with his shaft, soaking it with moisture before gaining entrance. I bit down on my lip to stop myself from verbally expressing how good it felt to have him inside me. It had been so long, I didn’t realize how much I missed it.
“f**k!” he cried. Greg was very expressive. “You feel so good… God!” he held onto my lap and kept his movement slow but effective. “You’re so perfect, babe… ah… f**k! I’m gonna c*m,”
I held on to my breasts and met his thrusts halfway. Common sense left me and I moaned aloud as I felt my body shattering underneath him.
“fuuuck!” he gave one last grunt and exploded with me.
Afterward, as we lay tangled like two sardines in a cramped can on the couch, Greg broke the silence with a soft chuckle.
“What?” I asked, turning my head to look at him.
“I must be outta my mind. I haven’t done anything like this ever. My relationships are usually slow ones,”
For a moment, we just lay there, until we heard Emma calling out to Lucas not to track muddy feet through the shop. We scrambled around to get our clothes and shoes, making it just in time before Lucas entered the office.
“Hey, baby!” I cooed and picked him up. “Did you have a nice time with Emma?”
He nodded and scrambled down from me heading for my laptop.
“that was close,” I said and we both broke into laughter.
“I really should get going so you can get some work done,”
I nodded and bid him goodbye. I heard him say his goodbyes to Emma also as I turned to my son who was trying to get on YouTube Kids.
Emma came in seconds after, “You sly devil, you…” she winked at me.
“What?” I turned to her but I knew she already knew.
“Don’t even lie. His fly was open and your underwear is on the couch,”
Shit!
