''I'm Nolan, Alpha,'' He answered.
''Why were you all leaving your pack?''
''Rogues have been attacking our pack for weeks,'' He answered, as he took a sip of tea, gulping it down before continuing, ''And yesterday the Kings soldiers showed up to help, only they made things worse and took off. We were forced to leave.''
I looked at my mate, and smiled.
''We can help,'' I told them, and Emmet's eyes widened, ''We will drive out the rogues, but where is your Alpha?''
''Dead.'' Leo said sadly, and his grandfather rubbed his back.
''Does he have children?'' Emmet asked.
''Leo.'' Nolan answered, and we both looked at the boy. I couldn't sense his Alpha side, but he was young and clearly hadn't shifted yet.
