The room became silent as soon as the guard came in, but if it were possible for the silence to be intensified, it did after he announced that he suspected the letter was from Felix.

"Bring it to me, bring it here" I commanded with such eagerness laced to my tone, and my voice, that the elders and my sons, all of them turned around to look at me. But I didn't care, it was a letter from my son anyway.
