Mia's POV
I held her gaze for a second and realized she was up to something evil. "Don't be scared. I don't bite," she spoke in a friendly manner, but I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Nonetheless, I sat beside her and waited for her to finish speaking. "I heard you're the new personal maid to Alpha Ricardo?" she asked, and I threw her a suspicious gaze before nodding my head.
"Great, I have an offer for you. If you accept, you'll be rich for the rest of your life," she said, and I furrowed my eyebrows even more. I knew whatever she wanted me to do was not good. "May I know what kind of deal you're proposing?" I asked politely, trying to keep my anger in check.
"Very good," she paused briefly before continuing, "I want you to kill Lady Mia."
She held my gaze, waiting for my reactio
