I did not know how long I'd been on the bed before hearing a knock on the door. ''The door is open.'' I grumbled.
The door opened, and aunt Cara walked in with a big smile on her face. ''You are back?'' She asked, confused. ''Yeah, something came up, aunt.'' I murmured and sat on the bed. ''Are you okay?'' She inquired worried. ''Yeah, I'm fine.'' I assured her and left the bed. ''Happy birthday, my dear, I never knew you were coming back.'' She said while I gave her a tight hug and moved away. ''Thanks Aunt.'' I mumbled with a weak smile.
