"Nothing happened." Scarlett rubbed between her brows and forced more energy into her voice. "You two have fun. I won't interrupt."
"Aurelia is throwing a fit because he wants to see you," Lucien said, lowering his voice. "I can't calm him down. I'm begging you."
Scarlett sighed. "Lucien, I'm genuinely busy."
"Is whatever's bothering you going to be solved in the next few minutes?" he asked.
Scarlett paused.
"If it isn't, then rushing won't help," Lucien continued. "Where are you? I'll pick you up."
Scarlett looked at the tightly closed gates of the Hargrove residence and finally gave him the address.
