Chapter 14: Gates of DardDarion's watership finally arrived back at Extatumm. The envoy didn't know what to say to Darion. The entire way back, Darion hadn't lost any of his anger over what had happened in Thure. When they got through the several layers of Extatumm security, Darion leapt onto the dock and went immediately to find the father.
TrTorrin agreed to see him right away. While pacing back and forth, Darion and the councilor relayed all that had happened. The father listened and watched Darion pace angrily. When they finished, TrTorrin said, “We still have options, Darion. The plan we discussed left room for this possibility. Calm yourself. Sit, and have some tea.”
