Chapter 16: The Real PrizeThe three air ships flew in formation towards the kingdom of the thirteen. Brenddel's two airships looked almost silly next to the massive black and silver Extatumm ship. Brenddel knew that they would not be allowed over the Artoth canal again, especially with an unknown ship from Extatumm. Brenddel flew through the Gantroh mountain range on the way to Extatumm. They would have to serve again.
The mountain range was well south of the canal, but treacherous. Useless to waterships, with only a narrow stream flowing through, it reminded Brenddel of a snake, with its sharply curving path through the steep mountain range. It also narrowed at many points, making TrTorrin's large ship an issue. But Brenddel knew this was the only path for them to follow.
