Kaidus awoke in his chambers, his mind foggy, with no recollection of the events that had transpired. Aria sat beside him, her eyes filled with concern.
"What happened?" Kaidus asked, his voice weak.
Aria hesitated, "You...you saved us from Lyra's dark magic. But the crystal's power...it changed you."
Kaidus looked down at his hands, and a surge of energy pulsed through his veins. His magic had evolved, but at what cost?
Lord Arin and Lady Lirien entered the room, their faces somber. "Kaidus, your actions have consequences. You must learn to control your new powers, for the sake of our kingdom and your own destiny."
Aria took Kaidus's hand, her touch igniting a spark within him. "We'll face this together, always."
With a newfound determination, Kaidus began his journey to master his transformed magic. Little did he know, a mysterious force was watching from the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike...
