The Moon Flowers Festival

         Kaliah POV

        As we made our way through the forest to pick some herbs and spices I tried to start a conversation with leela but she refuses to acknowledge me and she says she not a child this is so annoying if it wasn't for mom I would be doing this but she want us to get along so I'll try " so leela are you going to the festival it's tomorrow night," I asked still no answer. the moon flowers festival is a celebration that happens every four years because the moon flowers only bloom every four years. it's a sight to see it is a time when the villagers come together to dance, sing and drink to there's heart's  content, and it's also a time for the unmarried women and men to show their talent so they can be courted.

       " Kaleela you know you have to talk to me at some point we live together and we sister we shouldn't be fighting like this," I said she was about to say something then stopped, " were you going to say something?" I asked she stopped and look at me " yes I was going to say something ."she said then she started glaring at me then she said the last thing I would think my sister would say to me. " I hate you, ever since we were kids you were always dad favorite." she said with so much hatred, I know we don't really get along but I never expected her to hate me. " what do you mean," I asked she just rolled her eyes." it mean what it sounds like, you were always the one he payed attention to, the perfect little daughter." she yelled but then paused for a while." but that not all you took dads love all for yourself and now your trying to take mom." at the end of her little speech I started to get mad. 

         " You selfish little b***h mom and loves you so much but you were always so stuck up to even realize it'," I yelled back I can't believe she thinks that.  " you are always so focus on what I'm doing that you weren't even acknowledging the people who are looking out for you." I shouted getting angry every second I think about what she said." would mom get up in the middle of the night to get you medicine when you were sick because she didn't love you or dad would spend every last cent we had to by you the dress you asked for on your birthday?" I yelled now in tears." if that isn't love then what is?" I said then walked away.

          Kaleela POV

          That little b***h she thinks she can talk to me like that I'm not mom who thinks she this innocent little girl I have to get rid of her. As I make my way home I saw mom then she started questioning me " where is your sister she should be with you," mom asked of course she'll ask about kaliah " I don't know she just ran of when we were looking for herbs I don't no where she is." I said I am not liah's protector  I'm not going to follow her everywhere she goes. " I guess your little princess doesn't think she's little anymore," I said in an annoyed voice.

          kaliah POV

          As I make my way through the forest I ended up at the lake where I met Liam the other day I wonder if I'll meet him again. hours past so decided head  back home and then he appeared " I didn't think I'd see you so soon did you miss me and come back here in hopes of seeing me again," he said with a smirk on his face. I looked at him and said," don't flatter yourself why would I want to see you again?" he started walking closer and said " I don't know maybe because I'm so good looking you can't help yourself but think about me," I smiled then then turned towards the lake hiding my beat red face" you are very conceited.

        Liam's POV

        She turned away looking away from me so I wouldn't see here blushing face I'm going to make her mine. her eyes look red it looks like she's been crying." were you crying your eye's look a bit red?" I asked in a very serious tone but she turned away not wanting to answer I was now arm's length away , she must be wondering how I got so close so fast." why were you crying?" I asked getting angrier by the second but why am so angry I barely know her ." it's nothing don't worry about me," she said trying to change the subject but she can't dodge the question." I just had a little argument with my older sister it's nothing," she said it looks like she really doesn't want to talk about it I'm not satisfied with her answer but ill leave it I don't want to push too much.

       " So I heard there'll be a festival tomorrow night are you going?" I asked trying to lighten the mood she smiled then said " maybe I'm not sure, I was thinking about it."  then it went quit again she really doesn't talk much" I just going to go I have to get back before dark," said then left."  it seems she doesn't want me to know so I guess I have to find out for myself.

         Kaliah POV

        " Where were you young lady you should have been back hours ago, " my mom shouted looking angry and worried at the same time. " I'm fine mom i  was just thinking about some stuff I needed some time alone." I said then she calmed done but still looked a little upset " mom I'm sorry I'll tell you next time I'm leaving to think,"  she nodded her head then hugged me " I was just scared your sister didn't know where you went and all the worst things just pop in my head." I pulled away and said " mom I'm going to lay down ok  can we talk about this tomorrow " oh wait are you going to the festival," ,my asked she looks so excited so I just said " sure see you in the morning night mom," but then she shouted aren't you going to eat super?" I told her no then dozed off.
