Right now I am sitting at the back of the class hoping Mason, Jason and Grayson don't show up but unfortunately, I am wrong and have no luck on my side.
There are three seats cornering me at the back that are empty and I really don't want them to sit there but then again I am the unluckiest person in the world.
"Hello gorgeous," Mason says to me as he sits in the desk next to mine but I ignore him while looking outside of the windows trying to distract myself
"You were right she is ignoring you," Jason says. He is sitting directly in front of me and Grayson is diagonally across from me
"Come on Liv don't be so salty," Mason says to me. That was the nickname he gave to me when we were together
"Don't call me that" I say to him without looking at him
"Ahh she talks," Grayson says, speaking for the first time
Jesus, when is this teacher going to show up. We came to school to learn. Wow, that's something I never would have thought that's how much I do t want to speak to them I would rather listen to the teacher.
"Are you even listening?" Mason says while taking my arm
"What do you want"
"I was wondering if you wanted to get a burger and fries after school," he says
"First of all no and second we have detention remember because of your big mouth," I say to him
"It wasn't just me you were also involved," he says and I just roll my eyes at him
"Just leave me alone Mason"
"We could go after," he says
"What don't you understand about the word no?" I ask him
"I understand it clearly just bit taking no for an answer," he says
"What will it take for you to leave me alone?"
"Go get food with me after school," he says
"Why can't you go with your friends?" I ask
"I could but I would rather go with you," he says with a smirk
"Was that meant to make me blush or make me go weak at the knees?" I ask
"Please just come with me we can talk about you know what," he says with this look in his eyes and cant hell but say yes
"Fine we can go after detention," I say and joy fills his eyes
"Ok guys end your conversations, books out and pay attention," our teacher says
Are you kidding me, now you decide to come right after I say yes? Were you when I needed you. The universe is not on my side
After class
I get up and run at the classroom not because I wanted to avoid Mason, but because it was lunch and I wanted to go and see Amber and beyond Bianca to talk about what happened
I entered the cafeteria and see Grayson and Jason sitting at a table and I look a few tables down and see Amber and Bianca sitting at different table I walk towards them and sit next to them
"I'm going with Mason after my detention to get food with him," I say to them
They both look at me and are speechless.
"What? how? when? where?" amber asks
"I said I'm going to get food with Mason, it was the only way to get him to leave me alone, after our detention today and I don't know where he just said going to get food," I answer her questions in order
"You better not let Stephanie find out or she might just hunt you down," Bianca says
"Oh please, she doesn't scare me. No one scares me"
"Speaking if the devil, here she comes" amber says.we all turn to look at the doors and see Stephanie and her minions come in and walk to their table that mason and his friends are also sitting at
Before sitting down, Stephanie looks at me and gives me a b***h face and puts her middle finger up at me right before I show mine. she's sitting right next to Mason and I don't know why but it's bothering me.
"Stop being jealous it's not a good look on you," amber says
"I'm not jealous I don't care who he sits next to," I say
"Yeah sure," she says
"I'm not any way I don't care I'm the one going out with mason after school, not her," I say
"Yeah I guess your right," she says
"I'm going to go get food I'll be right back," I say to them
I walk to the line and grab a fruit pot and a smoothie since I'm not that hungry and I also don't want to fill myself touch
"Hey" I hear. I turn and see Mason standing there
"Oh hey," I say
"We still on for after school?" He asks me
"Yeah" I say.
I look behind and see stephanie staring at us with hate. She's clearly annoyed at how me and Mason are talking to each other.
I use this opportunity to make her even more angry at me by brushing hand against Masons.
He looks down and asks "What are you doing?" Clearly confused
"Nothing" I say to him, but he is not convinced.
I pay for my food and kiss him on the cheek. "See you after school" I say as I wink at him. Stephanie would definitely loose her cool.
I walk back to my table and realise that not only stephanie was staring at us but the while entire school. Everyone started whispering and in sure there are going to be rumours flying around but I didn't care.
I sit down at my table and am bombarded with questions from Amber and Bianca and I answer them truthfully.
