Nyx stepped out of the room as quietly as possible. He needed to check in with Or and the others to see what was next for them. He hated leaving his mate alone right now, but he had cried himself to sleep as Nyx held him in his arms. It hurt his heart with each tear his strong mate shed, but Nyx knew it was something Mikka had needed to do. He needed to shed himself of the pain, fear, and nightmares he had been living with for so long.
