Richard quickly pushed Bridget away from him and faced Rebecca.
"It's not what you think. I can explain," Richard stammered.
"It's exactly what you think. Richard and I are childhood lovers. We are so in love with each other. In fact, his parents made me his betrothed and blessed our union before their demise," Bridget boomed. Richard was taken aback by her words.
