Chapter 1

The city of Philadelphia, a population of over a hundred thousand, was finally becoming more and more awake as the sun came to the skies. Cars were everywhere, making their usual honking sounds, begging the other cars in front of them to move hoping to make it to their jobs or back to their homes after a long night shift. In one of Philadelphia’s warm homes, Kayden opened his eyes as sunshine filtered in the room.  Kayden Miller now Anderson was in heaven. He was caught somewhere in that half-conscious, half-asleep world where everything was peaceful and dreamy and weightless. He knew vaguely that he was asleep, but he wasn't particularly bothered by it. He was comfortable, and he saw no reason to change that. And so he floated, his body as light as the air around him, his thoughts drifting randomly, each topic is forgotten as it passed through his mind but his happiness who was the love of his life was the only one he thought of.  He slowly woke up to the soft hue of the morning sunshine on his face and the warm smile of his husband Dean beside him. He returned the smile "When are you going to stop doing that?" he blushed before burying his face into his husband's chest. "Never," Dean replied as he kissed the top of Kayden's head and pulled him closer to him if that's possible. "I can't believe that our honeymoon is over," Dean mumbled against his husband's hair. Kayden cuddled up even more by throwing his leg over him when he felt his husband's arousal. "Didn't get enough baby?" Kayden propped his head with his chin resting onto Dean's chest as he stared into his eyes. Dean rolled them over so that Kayden was now under him. Kayden wrapped his arms around Dean's neck and pulled him closer. "I can never get enough from you," Dean's husky voice made him shudder. Kayden bit his ear which earned a growl from Dean before his lips were taken in a passionate kiss. Their lips and tongues synchronized in a sensual symphony. "We're g-gonna be late... Dean" Kayden was breathless from the kiss but Dean moved onto his neck, leaving the little trails of tiny red marks there. Kayden moaned and bit his lip as Dean licked and bit his way down his chest, pausing at his n****e. He swirled his tongue around the bud, causing him to arch his back and squirm. "Dean... Stop teasing..." He gasped as Dean got rid of their boxers which were the only material separating them. Kayden moaned, lifting his hand to fist it in Dean's hair as he engulfed his twitching manhood into his warm wet heat of a mouth. He bobbed his head up and down while looking at Kayden's aroused face. His lubed fingers began to prepare the pinkish hole.  The pleasure was too much that he was so close to c****x until Dean pulled back. "Wha- Why?" Kayden frowned breathlessly. "I want to be inside you baby," Dean crawled back to smash his lips with Kayden's. His tongue explored the hot cavern as he thrust into Kayden's love hole. Kayden's body rose off the bed in an arc before Dean captured his lips again, his thrusts long and purposeful. Kayden shuddered. "F-Faster! f**k!!!" Kayden moaned as Dean began to speed up his movements, going in and out of Kayden at a dizzying pace. He cried out and reached for the headboard, his other hand tangled hopelessly in Dean's dark hair. They were both shaking now, their minds completely caught up in the moment. Dean reached his hand down, taking Kayden's throbbing erection into his hand. Kayden's eyes flew open, and he vaguely took in Dean's sweat-beaded skin, his piercing eyes, his loving yet concentrated expression. Then Dean began to pump at the pace of his thrusts, and Kayden's eyes fluttered closed again. It was only a short time later that Kayden felt his stomach tightening.  "D-Dean, I-I'm cuming!" He sucked in a deep breath. "c*m for me, baby…" Dean's husky voice made him shudder. He knew Dean was close by the erratic pattern of his thrusts, and though he wanted to wait for him, he simply couldn't hold back any longer. He came with a loud cry of ecstasy, feeling his release and registering numbly that Dean was coming, as well. Dean hit his release hard, shooting off inside of Kayden, who was too caught up in his c****x.  "I love you, baby…" he whispered before collapsing onto his husband. "I love you too Dean" Kayden wrapped his arms around his husband in his hug as they lay in bed coming down from their high. ******* "I told you we would be late!" Kayden grumbled as Dean drove him to the hospital. Kayden is now in his first-year residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania while Dean is working in Anderson Constructions. He is accepting the CEO post today from his father. "Well...it was worth it baby," Dean smirked which made Kayden blush. After they graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Dean and Kayden told their parents about their relationship. They decided to get married a year later after Dean proposed to Kayden. Dean worked as a part-time intern when he was in college and then full time in his own father's company to learn the family business while Kayden was a resident in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  They arrived at the hospital. Kayden got out but Dean caught his hand. "Where's my kiss?" he asked. "You have had quite enough," Kayden tapped Dean's chest with the back of his hand. "It will never be enough, love." Dean pulled Kayden closer and smashed their lips together. Before they lose control again and lose themselves in each other's kisses, Kayden pushed away breathless. "Stop!" he bit his lip. Dean chuckled and pulled away. "Have a nice day, doc." he said with a loving smile he had only for his husband. "I will. Good luck with your day, Mr. CEO, " Kayden winked and returned the same smile before getting out of the car. He waved goodbye without turning back as he walked towards the hospital. Dean smiled thinking of how he had gotten so lucky in life. After Kayden had disappeared into the hospital building, Dean drove away. He parked his car in the parking lot reserved for him. He got out and his father's assistant Todd was with him the next minute as he walked through the glass door. They took the elevator to the twentieth floor and got out. Everyone in the office stood up and applauded at the arrival of the new CEO. His father Dylan Anderson was standing outside his new office ready to welcome his son. When Dean was standing beside him, he cleared his throat and everything became silent. "Every one of you knows him. But it's my honour to introduce my son Mr. Dean Anderson as your new CEO!" He shook hands with Dean as everyone applauded. "Good luck son," He said with a big smile. He knew his son will always make him proud and he trusted him. He never would underestimate him. "Thanks, Dad," Dean smiled as his father pulled him into a hug. Soon Dean was settled into his new office. He took a seat in his chair and twirled it around. His father entered and Dean stood up. "How is your day so far?" His father asked as he took a seat on the couch. Dean followed and sat next to him. "It's good," Dean smiled thinking about his Kayden. "When did you and Kayden arrive last night from Canada?" He asked. "Around 7 last night," Dean said. "Good," his father nodded. "Dean," He said in a serious yet soft voice and Dean knew what his father was going to say next. "You know that you are the CEO of our company. It's your turn son. Don't let your emotions get the better of you. You might sometimes need to take on more onto your plate. Stay calm. Don't act immediately. Think rationally. And if you ever need any help feel free to ask me, okay?" His father said and Dean nodded. "Sure dad. Don't worry. I'll be the best CEO this company has ever had... No offence dad," He said confidently with a chuckle. "None taken son," Dylan laughed. "I know you can be a better CEO than me," he patted his son's shoulder. "Thanks, Dad," Dean smiled.  Soon his father left and Dean took his seat again. He looked at the photo frames on the table. Especially the one with the love of his life wearing his leather jacket. The photo was clicked in their third-year college at an event hosted by the Engineering department.  The photo made him realize that he would face many obstacles and troubles in the future but with his husband by his side, he knows he'll be able to overcome anything. He relaxed into his chair looking at the photo frame with a lovesick smile. Back at the hospital, Kayden was on his break. He was greeted by all the nurses with a smile or a squeal. "Oh Kayden... you're glowing," one of them said. "Wow! I wish I could get a husband like yours. He would treat me like a queen," another one spoke up dreamily. "Back off girls...He's mine." Kayden spoke and left them which earned him a few squeals. "Looks like Mr. Popular is back," Chris joined Kayden. "Hello, Mr. Tsundere," Kayden teased which made Chris scowl. ‘Tsundere’ is a Japanese term used to depict a person who is initially cold at first before gradually growing warmer and friendlier over time especially to their lovers. "Shut up. You were once too," Chris defended as the two walked into the break room. "Well, that was the past. Now it’s different," Kayden flaunted his wedding ring. "Well it's different for me too," Chris bit back but later he bit his tongue realizing what he had said.  "Did ‘Kitty Cat’ finally give in?" Kayden mimicked Adams’ voice as he teased Chris. Adam Jackson was Dean’s junior in the university. Adam and Chris had met during a party. The Engineering department had invited all their friends from the other departments for a celebration party. Adam had decided to court Chris who was at first rejected him but he grew to love Adam as the days went by. The couple had become official after a few months before Dean and Kayden. And now after seven years, Adam and Chris are finally engaged. "Oh, shut up!" Chris smacked Kayden's head. "f**k Kitty!" Kayden held his head while he chuckled. "Whatever! Let's not talk about that jerk now!" Chris said and walked away. "Wait! What the hell happened?" Kayden asked as they got some snacks from the snack machine. "It’s nothing," Chris shrugged off. Kayden c****d an eyebrow at him. "Okay. Fine... It's just that we had a small argument this morning. We never spend time with each other and he's always busy. It's f*****g frustrating! We're both busy with our careers and I can understand that. But why do I feel like I'm the only one trying to work our relationship," Chris said sadly. Kayden blinked. "f**k! Who are you and what have you done to my asshole friend? Kitty~ Are you in there? Cause I need you and not this diffident and unsure person I'm listening to." Kayden said to which Chris rolled his eyes. "Look, Kitty~ Just give it some time. We all know that Adam loves you and is crazy for you. Don't you think he hasn't tried to spare some time with you? Don't just assume things and lose your f*****g self-confidence. Talk it out with him." Kayden said and Chris nodded. "Thanks, Kaydie! That's why you're my best friend," Chris patted Kayden's shoulder. The nicknames for each other 'Kitty' and 'Kaydie' started when they were little kids. Chris was very fond of his mother's new kitten when Kayden and Kaleb, their other best friend stopped by one day and teased him with the name ‘Kitty’. And in return, Chris decided on the name 'Kaydie' and "Kalie" for them. These nicknames were only used between them within their family and friends circle. "Of course I am," Kayden smugly said. "Looks like the advice you gave for me works huh... You ever used it with your hubby?" Chris teased. "Yeah. We have. We always like to get into small arguments," Kayden shrugged with a mischievous smile. "Oh boy, I'm not sure why I asked," Chris was horrified thinking about the aftermath of their arguments. Kayden winked at him to which Chris rolled his eyes. "But don't you ever assume and overthink things at all?" Chris asked to which Kayden shook his head. "No. Not after we started dating. If we're upset or angry at each other, we talk it out or in some cases yell it out," Kayden shrugged. "We don't bottle it up and overthink stuff," he continued. Kayden's pager alarm rang. "Looks like my breaks over. See you later Kitty" Kayden walked out. "Bye Kaydie!" Chris yelled after. But little did Kayden know that problems were coming his way and choosing to ignore his advice later would be a bad choice.
